External sun visor

Has anyone ever modified an external sun visor to fit a soft top?
Can it be done neatly?

I'm 6'4" with a long torso so I'm looking through the top 2" of windscreen already - I wouldn't be able to see sh!t with that thing! It does look cool though...

So am I, that's why I suggest you lot do it

Iam 6ft and I’ve no problem seeing through screen, if you look it will go up at least another inch which would give you clear visibility from your driving position ,unless you drive with your nose upto the screen

Same here. I’m 6ft 5in (and not competitive at all). When my hood is off in the summer, I vary between slouching down and looking through the glass or sitting up straight and looking over the windscreen and getting insects in my face at 50mph!
