Windscreen wiper

Overdrive!
Just wondering, but are you supposed to service the windscreen wiper parts in any way? If something is move should it be oiled or greased?
 
There is grease in the top end of the wiper motor where the gear sits, a smear of grease in the wheel boxes and it doesn't hurt to grease the drive cable. If the wipers are noisy there is a small tang in the wheel box which can be bent to adjust the amount of pressure on the wheel
